The fourth day of the VETSKILLING project week in Roskilde was all about wrapping up, rehearsing — and celebrating. With final presentations just around the corner, students spent the day refining their presentation skills and finalizing their weather stations. The day ended on a creative and joyful note, with a special evening full of fun and international connection.
Learning to present: yourself and your project

The morning kicked off with workshops on generic skills, this time focusing on how to present both yourself and your project.Students practiced structuring a clear story, delivering a confident message, and presenting technical results in an engaging way. Everything was designed to prepare them for Friday’s final presentations.
Technical success: all weather stations operational!
After the morning workshops, the teams dove back into the technical work: finalizing their weather stations. The challenge was clear — each station had to function independently and display real-time data on an online dashboard.
✅ Mission accomplished!
All teams delivered working weather stations that successfully collect and present live data on temperature, air quality, and more — a true achievement of cross-border teamwork.
Future tech in education: VR/XR workshop

In the afternoon, students participated in an inspiring session on the use of VR and XR technology in education and during internships or work-based learning powered by Innopixel. The workshop explored how virtual and extended reality can
support practice-based learning, realistic simulations, and safe experimentation.
It sparked curiosity and ideas about how to apply these tools in different fields.
A Danish-style final evening: photo hunt & rooftop pizza party
The final evening of an international project week is traditionally a moment to celebrate — and our wonderful host Pernille made sure it was a night to remember.
Students took part in a photo hunt through the city of Roskilde, solving creative tasks in international mixed teams. The hunt ended in a surprising and special way: with a pizza party on the rooftop of a parking garage.
The city of Roskilde has transformed the roof into a social space with benches, greenery, and views over the city. While enjoying their pizza, students listened to a custom playlist made up of favorite songs from each country represented — a musical journey into each other’s cultures.
Teachers looked on with pride, seeing the most valuable outcome of the week: students from different countries, laughing together as friends. One word: AMAZING!
Up next: time to shine
Tomorrow is Day 5 – the grand finale of VETSKILLING Roskilde. Student teams will present their work, share their experiences, and reflect on what they’ve achieved together.
Don’t miss it – our final update will follow tomorrow!
